The bed covers were still wet when the maid put them on, and the hotel seemed totally careless. Staff did nothing to improve paying guests’ comfort. There were late night parties by the pool, and the AC in our room didn’t work, so we had to open the windows and listen to all the noise. They charged $90 for a small batch of laundry. We wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid us.

Room service felt expensive, so it was more convenient to walk to the nearby restaurants and mall, about 15 minutes away. The hotel itself is amazing, with a balcony and a great view of the sea. Watching the morning sunrises and sunsets from there was especially good.

The staff were helpful and friendly, but there are several problems. The rooms need renovating, with bathroom fittings coming off the wall. English TV channels didn’t work, and the aircon had apparently been out in every room for three months. Pool music carried on late into the evening, and the garden side also gets fairground noise until 22:00.

It was a quiet place with a nice sea view, and the staff were kind. The food wasn’t as tasty as I’d expected, though, and the WiFi was so weak I couldn’t even send an email. Prices are high compared with other hotels in the same category. It seemed okay overall.

The hot water was unreliable, sometimes there and sometimes not. The hotel feels old, and so does the furniture, though the TV was nice and the first night’s minibar was free. The bed was big but uncomfortable. Breakfast gets 6.5 out of 10, and there’s a city tax they don’t warn you about. A shopping center is a 20-minute walk away. So far, it seems okay.
