For a one-night stop, it did the job. The bathroom was surprisingly roomy, and our room was clean. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, and it would’ve been nice to have a king option for couples. We could also hear people talking in neighboring rooms. The hotel sits in a busy part of town beside a police station, so it isn’t especially quiet, though that seemed expected for the area. Service was fine and everything went smoothly, even if the staff weren’t very warm.

The receptionists were welcoming, and the rooms were attractive and clean. It’s in central Algiers, close to the Metro and the police station, so the location felt very safe. There are six floors, but the lift is tiny, noisy, and awkward to use. At night, especially on the upper floors, it can be disturbing. There’s no bidet spray, which was really inconvenient for me. Room options include single, double, triple, and a two-room apartment with a living room that sleeps four. Prices run from 9,600 to 13,500 Da for rooms, and 12,000 to 16,000 for the apartment depending on how many people stay. Breakfast is included, with a small open buffet and good food, though the coffee wasn’t great.

It’s a quiet place to stay, with good beds, a decent breakfast, and a good shower. The staff were helpful, spoke English, and arranged a guide for us. I liked the atmosphere in this 1944 buiding. The Metro station is just a block away, and the nearby police station meant no noise and a sense of safety. The main street is only a few metres away and felt safe in the evening. Recommended.

We had two large suite-like rooms on the sixth floor, clean and comfortable, and paid 27.200 dz for two rooms for five people. The area felt safe with the police station next door. We were between the central roads Mourad 5 and Didouche Mourad, and about 50 meters from Metro station Khelife Boukhala. We recommend it.
