The buffet is the weak point for me, especially for the high price. Breakfast choices are extremely limited; lunch and dinner are a little better, though staff serve the main dish instead of it being on the buffet. The meat portion is well under 100g, and you have to ask if you want more. The location is great, but the rooms are average and don’t feel good enough for the hotel’s class. There’s a better place nearby for the same price.

I had a mixed stay at the Legacy Luxury Hotel in Algiers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job. Dining was disappointing: the food was average, while service was slow and disorganized. Several times we waited a long while because meals had to be “reset.” The coffee machine was broken at breakfast, and staff said it had been out of service for months. The TV channels also seemed long overdue for an update. The restaurant service and upkeep need real improvement if the hotel is to live up to its luxury image.

The building feels luxurious, with panoramic windows, some looking onto the street and trees and others into the hotel. Room amenities are very good. Service is acceptable for the most part, but the cleaning can be poor and towels may be missing. Ventilation is a real issue: the toilet has only a hole in the ceiling, with no fan, and the panoramic window doesn’t open. Breakfast is good, but the small space gets crowded, you may have to wait for some items, and they aren’t replenished often. Cars are often parked in front of the disability access ramp. Laundry is very expensive.

I stayed in October 2024 and found Legacy Luxury a lovely blend of Algerian tradition and modern style, with beautiful details throughout. Breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made msemen. It was a peaceful, relaxing visit, and there’s an on-site hammam if you want to pamper yourself. The free airport transfer was punctual and made getting there easy. I highly recommend it and hope to return.
