SELAMI

The location worked well for me, right in the city center beside a police station, so it felt fairly safe, though it was a little noisy. You can find what you need nearby, and the receptionists were nice. The bathroom and shower were fine and, most importantly, clean. The rooms themselves were okay, but some are dull and dreary if you care about decor. That squeaky bed was awful. It made enough noise to wake me up. Breakfast was basic: the croissants were more like bread, but at least the coffee was good. At 3,800 DA per night for a single room, I found it a bit expensive for what you get. If you can spend 4,600-4,900 DA, you'd be better off at another hotel. I visited in October, which seems to be a pricier time in Biskra, probably because it's date harvest season. Prices may vary. The hotel used to charge 3,000 DA a night before October, and I think that's a fairer price. If you're on a tight budget and can live with the issues I mentioned, I'd recommend it.
