BN Hotel

The restaurant food is good, though expensive, and the rooms are decent. I’ve stayed here many times while getting dental treatment and surgery, but was never offered an upgrade or a free night. For a hotel that’s acceptable by Algerian standards, the service needs a lot of work and staff need better training. A housekeeper opened our door twice while we were asleep without knocking. It was shocking and embarrassing, and I reported it to reception. On another visit, I heard a receptionist tell a colleague, “Look, they’re back again.” At the restaurant, I wanted to pay with my VISA card because I had no cash. The cashier sent me to reception with a receipt, then shouted down from the restaurant, “Hey, get him to pay, don’t let him go,” while following me to make sure I paid. He knew I was staying at the hotel, but I felt treated like a thief. The broken TV remote controls should be fixed, too. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, and this place has room to improve its customer service and hire capable staff.
