We had to find somewhere to stay ourselves during the holiday season. I’d booked a month ahead, for February 16th to 18th, but after nobody answered, I called. The woman I spoke with knew nothing about the booking, didn’t check Booking.com, and even laughed when I read her the reservation. If a place is listed on Booking.com or another platform, they should be checking it.
They sent us away, saying they didn’t have our reservation, and hadn’t checked Booking.com. We were tired, had our luggage, and had to look for another hotel. A bad experience.
The hostess was kind and very helpful.
The service felt personal, and everyone was so friendly.
