I appreciated the clean pools and the free, secure parking for my vehicle. My room was clean too, with nice towels and sheets, a hot shower, and excellent air conditioning. It's about a 10-minute walk from the door to the beach. Nights were very loud, though, with constant tuktuks (moto taxis) going to and from the beach, often blaring music. Earplugs, which I brought, made it manageable. Also, my room needed a bed mosquito net: mosquitoes could get in through various openings, and I was bitten 9 times during my 3-night stay. That wasn't pleasant.
