Javier and his family were such lovely hosts. The place is quiet, with a pretty terrace and hammocks, and the private rooms have their own bathrooms. It’s a beautiful spot with nice wooden furniture, just a couple of blocks from the beach.

A rooftop terrace, shared kitchen, plenty of hammocks, and hot water in the shower. The rooms were clean, with lovely sea themed artwork, and the whole place feels like a treehouse. It’s set just behind the beach, which is good since the beachfront strip gets noisy. The owners are lovely and make great free coffee in the morning. Fairly priced, and I’d definitely recommend a stop here if you’re travelling along the coast.

The owners were super nice and helpful, and the beach is only a minute away. Our room was a good size, a double with bunks, and there’s a little kitchenette guests can use. The whole building feels charming and cozy, almost like a bamboo beach hut, with wood and bamboo all around. A cool place to stay for a few days!

A peaceful, family run place by the beach. We were comfortable in our room, and Javier and Daniela were incredibly kind. I’d absolutely come back.

We liked the rustic, whimsical feel and ended up adding three nights to our visit. Our private room and bathroom cost around $35.00, and my partner really enjoyed the surf lessons. We didn’t mind that there was no soap, or that we didn’t get fresh towels or sheets after the first day. A garbage change would have been nice, though it wasn’t a big deal. It was a great stay.
