Marcelo, the owner, made me feel welcome from the start. He helped me practice Spanish and find good places to visit, and he's a great chef, too. I stayed for two months and couldn't have asked for a better environment. From my window I could see the stunning mountains, with horses nearby. There's also an incredible path where I used to run, past cows, horses, a llama, and a pig. The outdoor space is lovely, with hammocks, and the rooms are sweet. I'd highly recommend it!

Marcelo, the owner, is so kind and helpful, and he has lots of advice to share. Cotacachi is a distinctive town with friendly people, and there's plenty to see nearby, including the wonderful Cuircocha lagoon, Imbabura volcano, and San Pablo lake. Don't miss the Otavalo market for local products. Yahuarcocha Lugune, Cayambe, and the capital, Quito, are also within reach. The rooms are large and very clean, and breakfast is generous and tasty. A great choice for a one-night break or as a base for a holiday. Very recommended!

We stayed several days with our offroad camper at Hosteria Oro Azul. It's a lovely, quiet place, and Marcelo was very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot!

The owner was friendly and very helpful, with plenty of local spots and views to tell me about. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are top quality, and the food was fantastic. The view of the two mountains was stunning. You won't find a better hotel in or near cotacachi. If I come back, I already know where I'll stay.

This place feels like paradise, right in front of Cayambe volcano and surrounded by lush greenery and nature. It's incredibly peaceful and beautiful, and the bed was the most comfortable I've had in ages. Marcelo, the owner, is a sweetheart and very attentive. If I return to Ecuador, I'll definitely stay here again!
