The owner, who’s part of the family, was really friendly. You can use their kitchen, though the Wi-Fi only works at reception. It’s a cheap shared room at $6 per person, with a basic setup, an old mattress that wasn’t very comfortable, and cleanliness that could have been better.

Daniel was kind, polite, and attentive to what guests needed. My bad experience came from the owner, an older woman with a terrible temper who made my wife and me feel unwelcome. I saw her staying around reception, and she treated us badly. We chose the place because it offered a kitchen, which matters to us since we eat some traditional dishes from our country. She turned off the gas even though she knew we planned to cook. Charging more for kitchen use would have been fine, but her arrogance and poor service were not. The shower also ran out of hot water after five minutes, and there were no towels or toilet paper, among other issues.
