The cash-only payment was frustrating: when I paid, they didn’t have change for me right away. If a hotel only takes cash, they should have change available. There was also a problem with the location. When the listed property was full, they sent me to another one of their locations, about a 10-minute drive away. I booked that morning, and they messaged me only when I was already heading to the address on Bookin.com. The other hotel had a different name, so it felt like a scam. It ruined my plans because I’d chosen this hotel for its original address. I wouldn’t book here if location matters to you.

Comfortable enough for a night after arriving at the airport, but there were lots of little flies in my bathroom. They offered airport pickup, though the car wouldn’t be sent until I confirmed I was ready in the pickup area. A taxi would have been quicker.

We’re a family of five from DK and NZ, with three children under 6. We booked through WhatsApp, and everyone was helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, with two beds big enough for all of us to share. The beds were comfortable, the showers were nice and hot, and there was free WiFi and AC. It’s an easy walk to the bus station and airport, and a taxi from the airport cost 5$. The area felt safe for families. They serve an American-style breakfast for 4$. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in this city.

Fermin met us at the airport and drove us to the hostel. He even stopped along the way to get us water, helped with our bags, and did our laundry when we arrived at 11 pm. We really needed it, and he was happy to help. The owner, whom we met in the morning, spoke great English and was lovely too. We felt safe and welcome. The room had AC, soap and towels, and a comfortable bed, so we got a good night’s sleep before our connecting flight. This was easily our best hostel experience for an overnight stop. Great value, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Definitely stay here if you have a flight the next morning.
