It's a nice place in a private, secure area away from the city center. The river's fish oil smell gets annoying at times, and staying here comes with sacrifices for security. Prices are 50% above the rest of the city. Be aware that residents in this area can be stuck-up and judge you by your clothes, tattoos, or hairstyle. Still, it's definitely a good choice for staying around here.

I love Guayaquil, even though I've never lived there. I always visit, and I love its beautiful, organic, harmonious architecture. It's a shame there are no longer flights from Loja to Guayaquil. I hope they come back soon.

Even though we own here, getting a good night's sleep is difficult. There's a party almost every night, either in one of the Bellini buildings or Spazio, or somewhere nearby. There's little to no control over it, so this isn't a place I'd want to live.

Booked through Airbnb for a weekend and really enjoyed the stay. There are lots of restaurants close by, the river view is great, and security is good. Recommended!
