Hostal El Retorno

Getting luggage up the cramped stairs was tiring, and both the reception area and the bathrooms felt very tight. The bathrooms and rooms are old, the TV is outdated, and there's no phone for calling reception. The bell rang through the night. It felt like a motel for couples, and the whole stay was completely unpleasant.

Mr. Bayron was wonderful and helped me with everything I needed, and I really appreciated how clean the place was. The daytime staff didn't suit me: they weren't attentive and my room wasn't cleaned. I'd gladly come back and recommend the place. Thank you for the stay.

The staff were grumpy, and getting in was a hassle: the door was always locked, and I could be left waiting outside for up to four minutes while they opened it. Of the more than 100 hostels and hotels I've visited around the world, this was undoubtedly the worst service.

The location was accessible and the place itself was good, but children staying there kept screaming and running around, so we couldn't rest. The hotel staff did nothing about it.
