The rooms aren’t very good for what you pay, and the pricing felt pretty dishonest. They quoted one amount over the phone, then gave me a different one at check-in, while booking online was cheaper. I can’t recommend it.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable, stylish, and a quiet place to unwind after a day out. The hotel was beautiful and well kept, with great amenities too. This was my second stay at Sonesta Hotel in Loja, and from arrival the friendly, warm staff made me feel welcome. They were always ready to help, whether I had a question, needed transportation arranged, wanted suggestions for local attractions, or just wanted my room kept spotless. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made me feel valued and turned the stay into a memorable one. I’d recommend Sonesta Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place in Loja. For me, it’s the best hotel in Loja. Thanks, Sonesta Hotel, for the lovely stay. See you in 12 months.

The music and bass from huge events at the hotel shook the rooms all weekend, so this was a terrible place to try to sleep. There’s no AC, and I had to keep the windows shut to block some of the noise, which left the rooms too hot. I’ll never stay here again.

The breakfast was great, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The rooms are top class, with great views if you get one facing the city. When the concierge walks you to your room, they explain the amenities and point out places to see and eat nearby. The service is top notch, and they really care about each guest’s stay. Hands down, this has to be the best hotel in Loja. I can’t wait to come back.

The pool could be better managed. Outside visitors rent it and keep it occupied, so hotel guests can’t use it. There’s also a large gym on site. The hotel is modern, about a 10-minute walk from downtown, and the staff are welcoming and take good care of visitors. Rooms are spacious, with big windows and lots of natural light. Breakfast is buffet style, with a good range of flavors.
