The staff are so friendly, and it feels like a place where families are welcome. A lovely way to connect with nature. Highly recommended.

My favorite spot for sport fishing, for sure. When we arrived, they followed all the biosafety protocols and gave us a disinfected artisanal rod and bait. We caught 7 trout. They cleaned the fish for us, and it cost a very reasonable $13. You can weigh your catch to take away, or have the kitchen prepare it. Prices are reasonable in general, there's plenty of parking, and lodging is available too. It's a lovely place to enjoy nature, spot wildlife, fish for trout, and have a meal. Just be ready for the wind at the foot of Cotopaxi volcano, and bring a warm jacket or sweater. The dirt and gravel road can make access a little tricky for most cars, so a high-clearance vehicle or 4x4 is a good idea.

Beautiful scenery and quick access to nature reserves. The place is simple, clean, and pleasant, with good food. A 4x4 is preferable, and bring heating.

Really pretty, very clean, and the food is delicious. The road has two slightly rough patches, but it's still easy to get there. Recommended.
