We felt safe here, and the staff were quick and friendly. We even felt like we'd made a few friends. It's the place to stay in Machala, and we'd definitely recommend it.

While we were celebrating a wedding in Machala, we recommended this hotel to over a dozen foreign friends based on earlier good stays. Many of them couldn't sleep past 7 am, even on the weekend, because renovation work upstairs was so loud. The hotel is renovating the upper floors but still puts guests in noisy rooms. They belong to a hotel group and could easily direct guests to the Oro Verde Hotel if they were short on capacity. Instead, they keep selling rooms at regular prices without considering the guests. Don't stay here for at least the next few months.

This is a bad hotel, not the five-star place they try to make it look like. Construction next door made it impossible to sleep, and the neighborhood was even worse on weekends. It's expensive for the nightmare you get 🤬🤬🤬
