We ended our weeklong beach trip here, and it was a lovely final stop. The rooms were beautiful and the service was great. When we asked for a slightly later checkout because of an issue, the woman at the front desk kindly helped us out. They were so thoughtful that they also sent someone to help my in-laws after they got lost in the building.

The hotel itself is very nice, with a cool pool and an easy walk to Quadra and other restaurants. The private beach was pretty much useless because it was so dirty. I probably wouldn’t stay again because the front desk staff were a bit rude and unhelpful. The women were especially like that, while the men were a little nicer.

A really awful stay. The service was bad, the other guests were loud and annoying, and the place was dirty. I never even got my refund back. Those good ratings are all old.

We could walk to great restaurants and a mall, and the beach and ocean views from our huge room were astounding. It had a nice kitchen and lovely bedrooms, and the service was great. I didn’t try the built-in spa, but the restaurant was great. The only thing that kept this from being five stars was the mosquitoes. We opened the balcony door for about three minutes at most, and they bothered us for the rest of the trip. A beautiful stay otherwise. Bring mosquito spray.

We gave this hotel four stars a few years ago, but it’s showing its age now. The lobby feels dark and needs refurbishing, and a vending machine tucked in the corner really doesn’t help. Maintenance seemed neglected, with broken tiles, dirty elevator floors, missing trim on the building, and paint needed in places. It just felt old. Next time, we’ll look a little farther down the beach.
