Cabañas Armonía y Jardín de Orquideas

The garden brings you close to nature, and feeders near the breakfast nook draw loads of hummingbirds. Breakfast comes with the stay and is filling: coffee, juice, fruit, and eggs cooked the way you like. The staff are lovely and helpful. We had to change our booking at short notice, and they graciously let us. Our private cabin cost $35 a night and had its own roomy bathroom with a huge shower and hot water. There were lots of hooks for clothes, little nightstands and shelves, and windows that open for fresh air. WiFi worked well throughout the place. I highly recommend staying here in Mindo, however long your visit.

We paid 40$ for two people, and having a private place with a hammock felt worth it compared with a 20$ hostel room for two. Our cabaña had two beds, a front hammock, and its own bathroom. It's an easy walk from town, but the big garden feels remote in the morning, with birds and rain to listen to. You can still hear city noise and construction, just less than elsewhere. Delicious breakfast and a comfy bed. Parking is available on the street or inside the gate. 5/5!

The gardens are small, but a great spot for hummingbirds, tanagers, squirrels, and one much bigger bird I couldn't identify. There's a relaxed feel, and not many guests were staying. Our cabin felt homely and had a good bathroom. Breakfast was good, and the staff were really friendly. I loved this place.

The rooms have a nice, rustic feel, and the employees were helpful in setting up whatever activities we wanted without ever seeming pushy. Breakfast was amazing: fresh, juicy watermelon, warm bread, and eggs cooked wonderfully.
