The garden is a great feature for groups or families, with a little pool, and there’s a pool table if you feel like staying in. The kitchen has basic equipment and is usable. The rooms are spacious and clean for one person or a couple. It’s a cute hotel tucked into a garden, with easy access to the beach and city center. There’s a Tia supermarket across the street and a few restaurants nearby for when you don’t feel like going into town. Two lovely dogs greet you, and during the day you can spot iguanas and beautiful birds on the nearby roof and trees. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s quiet here, but still just a short walk to the town centre. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean, and the garden facilities and pool table come with a view straight to the beach.

Luis and his family are very friendly, and the helpful staff make you feel at home. This spot feels like a peaceful little sanctuary, with a beautiful garden and space to relax, plus two lovely, friendly dogs. The location is perfect, along what I think is the nicer end of the beach, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It’s only a four or five minute walk into town. I’d stay here again.

The late afternoon surf is fantastic, and the sand is clean with a really relaxed feel. It’s easy to unwind here, with the beach just beyond the garden gate. The outdoor kitchen is great too.

We really enjoyed watching the sunset over beautiful Montañita beach, just minutes away through the back gate. Casa Roja is also a short walk from town, but the area stays quiet. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower had strong hot water, the internet was fast and reliable, and the clean shared kitchen had everything we needed. The pool is on the small side, but fine. The owners were friendly and helpful, and we’ll miss their lovely dog, cruchie, and her puppies. We’d definitely recommend staying here.
