The water situation was unacceptable. Of our three days there, water was available only on the first day, and not until about 10:00 p.m. We had to leave the hostel and go all the way to Montañita, paying for showers elsewhere because there wasn't even water in the bathroom. The problems started before we arrived, with unprofessional reservation handling and rooms being assigned arbitrarily even though they were supposedly confirmed. The woman in charge was rude and unprofessional, while the young man was much kinder and more understanding. They use Airbnb for advertising but require cash payment on arrival, which I consider false advertising. I wouldn't recommend this place under any circumstances. If you can avoid staying here, do.

The rates for the accommodation changed, the water service was deplorable, and the woman in charge treated us poorly and acted unprofessionally.

It's a rustic little inn but still cozy, and everything was very clean. Gaby and her family were super friendly. They also have a beautiful black dog named Rocky. Bring him some food and give him lots of love, he's really docile.
