Montañablu Hotel

The beach access through that tucked-away walkway was so convenient, and I loved sitting on the balcony with the ocean in view and hearing the waves at night. We came for my birthday week, and the staff at Montañablu Hotel made my wife and me feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. They were polite, honest, and gave us some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. The property is gorgeous, and honestly feels much too good for Montañita. My heart’s with this place. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks to everyone for such amazing hospitality! 💥 ❤ 🙏 💯

The staff helped my parents celebrate my birthday over dinner, which meant a lot. This was my second stay here with them, and coming back for the occasion was an easy choice. The peaceful atmosphere and polite, professional team, including the maintenance staff, made this visit even better than the first. Our original balcony room had a small water leak, but the staff handled it and offered us a room upgrade at no extra cost. I’ll definitely return.

You can hear the surf at night since the hotel is right on the beachfront, and the views from the second and third floors are beautiful. The beds were comfortable, though our room for two was really small, maybe 140 sq ft. There weren’t any blankets, even though nights here may feel cool if you’re used to warmer weather.

The pool was great, the bar was good, the beach was clean, and we got an amazing sunset. Even our pup loved it. We drove from Guayaquil to Montanita for MLK weekend and had a really good time. Our room was great and super clean, and the service was far better than anywhere else we’ve had in the region. A chair and table in the room would’ve been nice, though I’m sure I could’ve gotten them if I’d asked. Can’t wait to stay again.
