For the price, it’s reasonable. The shower had lukewarm water rather than hot, which made bathing a bit disappointing. The mosquito net they provided had a hole, but my room was mostly free of bugs, so it didn’t cause a problem.

I barely slept and was out the door the next morning. I’m used to insects and usually tolerate them, but there were so many cockroaches. The last straw was finding termites crawling around under my pillow and under the sheets, with winged ones landing about every 30 seconds, no exaggeration. The owner couldn’t have cared less. Hot water doesn’t exist, and the Wi-Fi only works around the check-in area, if it works at all. The owner seems interested in making a dollar, not dealing with guests, and you can find much better places for less. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a nice outdoor sitting area, at least.

Rustic place, close to the beach, with a courtyard and a shared kitchen. The people were excellent, and there were foreign visitors around. I paid $13 USD for one person. It was an ideal experience.

Comfortable stay. It would have been five stars with air conditioning.
