The view from the house is outstanding, and it has everything you need for a short or longer seaside break. Mauro and his wife were helpful throughout and even let us use their kitchen. We had booked three nights at Maremonti, then decided to stay two more.

The host was lovely, though there was a bit of confusion when I arrived because I hadn't realized I could just come in. Nobody replied to my call or message, but the hotel next door wasn't answering either. The directions are accurate, but mototaxi drivers may not know where to go, so save the number of one you find. You'll need one to get out, as it's quite far away. There isn't food nearby apart from the hotel, which requires a paid deposit to reserve. Given the distance and the lack of a fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, it would be nice if breakfasts were included again after Covid. The room was charming and rustic, with a wonderful view, and the area felt private and quiet. It seemed ideal for Carnaval.

The place was dirty and outdated, and the service was really bad. I found the location disgusting. Don't book here!

The room was lovely, and the two cats were adorable. The father and son were warm and gave excellent service, which made the stay a pleasure. You can ask them to cook delicious meals for an extra charge, and the prices are reasonable. Eating with that amazing view was a treat. The location isn't the best, but a tuk-tuk ride into the city costs just a dollar. If you let the host know before you leave the property, they'll come pick you up on time. For this price, it's hard to find another place with an ocean view that feels like a resort. I'll definitely come back someday. Thanks for such a wonderful time!
