The private room was clean and cost $15 a night, while a dorm bed was $8. The shower pressure was weak. There’s also a little yippee dog belonging to the owners that barks at its own shadow, so the evening was noisy, though things did quiet down after midnight.

My 14-year-old son and I stayed four nights, and the family made us feel like we’d found a new one of our own. We loved the room, the location, and the wonderful service. Such a great place!

The rooms were clean and perfectly adequate, and the location was great. The family running the place were warm and helpful, and their cooking was fantastic.

A fun, funky spot close to the beach. The hostess was funny and happy to help, and the prices worked well for a budget trip.
