Hachacaspi Hostería is surrounded by forest, and I enjoyed watching the Arapaima, one of the rare, prehistoric fish still found in the Amazon, like the ones shown on Discovery and Travel Channels. The pool was well maintained, and the staff were cordial and professional. Management also suggested local places to see and eat, and helped arrange ground transportation to and from Quito international airport. I was able to relax and enjoy my time in the area. At the time of my stay, it was cash only because they were switching POS providers.
