Air Suites Hotel Boutique

It's in a safe commercial and tourist area, close to parks, shopping centers, main roads, and the US embassy, Mexico and others. The location offers quick access to the airport, and being near Atahualpa stadium is a real advantage when there are events there. The place is clean, service is good, and I'd recommend it for business or tourism. It also works well for family events or teaching courses.

A cozy, pleasant hotel where you can relax. The main commercial area is just steps away, with malls, restaurants, and bars nearby. It's about five minutes from the old town by bus, subway, or taxi.

We spent three nights here in Quito. The room and hotel were clean, and the bathroom had hand and body soap. Breakfast was basic but decent: scrambled eggs, two pieces of toast, fruit, and coffee. We needed to wash T-shirts, socks, and underwear, so we asked the check-in agent about the price. They said $1. We made two small loads, one of colors and one of whites. When I went to collect them, an employee suddenly asked for $15. After I reminded her we'd been quoted $1 per load, she said she'd check. At checkout, the same employee asked for $10 instead. She went on to say it was one per $1. I explained that the price didn't make sense, since the socks and underwear alone would cost $25. Paying more wasn't the problem if we'd been told up front. The changing, seemingly random prices made it feel as though they were trying to cheat us. A bad customer experience.

A nice boutique hotel to unwind in, with comfortable beds, friendly and helpful people, and a great night's sleep. For the price, service, and location, it's ideal.
