Hotel Gran Quitumbre was a convenient spot near both the South bus terminal and Quitumbre Metro Station. The double-glazed windows kept the traffic below from disturbing the rooms. A new Chinese restaurant, Chifa Esmeraldas, on the corner was a bonus, with delicious food. Marco gave very good service. Here’s a photo of him in the hotel foyer.

David and the rest of the staff gave us amazing attention. David made my girlfriend and me feel welcome, was ready to help, and answered our questions. The room was clean and comfortable, with cosy beds and hot water, and the location was great. We had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Gran Quitumbe. Thanks to David and everyone there!

The staff were friendly and professional, and everything was very clean. It’s very close to Terminal Quitumbe. The internet was decent, and I managed to work online with only a few interruptions. Traffic can make it a little noisy. They have snacks and drinks, but I wish there were coffee for guests. There aren’t any proper coffee shops nearby, at least not ones that open early.

It was a great stay overall. The staff are friendly, and both the hotel and rooms are very clean. They clean the rooms daily, the shower has good hot water, and the bed is comfortable. Just choose your room carefully, since the hotel is on a busy street corner.

A clean, comfortable hotel in a convenient spot near the bus terminal. The staff were helpful and friendly. I’d recommend it.
