The hostel was clean and in a handy spot near Cutumbre station, though the setup is very basic. Breakfast was brought to the room, which felt awkward; a shared room where guests could sit together over breakfast would be much nicer. The staff didn't understand English, but we got by using Google Translate. There was no drinking water available to refill a personal bottle.

The room and toilet were neat, and the shower had hot water. There was secure parking too.

They were friendly and the luggage storage worked perfectly, which made the place really convenient for trips to the Amazon. Breakfast was pretty minimal, just coffee or tea, juice, and one croissant.

$220 went missing from our room. The three videos you sent show us leaving the apartment, with a freeze-frame in two of them. Since the camera only covers the stairs, they don't show who entered room 35 or when. We only realized the money was gone on the bus to Otovalo; if we'd noticed sooner, we would have caught them anyway. The staff stole it. They should be ashamed. Don't stay there.

The staff were both professional and really friendly, and the location was good. I also appreciated that they had breakfast ready at 5:30 am. Thanks for everything.
