The rooms were clean, and the hostel is big and well located. Staff were helpful, too. We came in low season and I didn’t see any other guests. Breakfast was included, but I would have liked more choices, and the hot water wasn’t always reliable.

It’s a nice place to stay in Quito, with many of the sites just a short walk away. Just don’t count on the WiFi working very often.

There’s a lovely interior garden, and the hostel is right in the historic center near the tourist sights. The staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast comes with the price, though it could be better.

The staff are friendly, and for this part of town it’s the best value for money. The old house looks as if it may once have been a hospital or boarding school, but the hotel chain’s owners have given it a great makeover.
