The staff were fantastic and made me feel at home. It’s one street back from the beach, so there’s less noise. Had an awesome stay.

Mauricio, the owner, was such a helpful and wonderful person, and he made the experience incredible. Hotel Palmira was great value, with very clean rooms and a lovely breakfast. I’d recommend it to anyone. For English speakers, having Mauricio around is essential for getting the best advice about the city and being treated like family. Thank you for all your help.

I’m a flight attendant for a major US carrier, so I’ve stayed in places all over the world for work and on my own time. This place is better than almost all of them. The attention, clean rooms, and room quality are five-star. The bed and pillows were really great, the A.C. and TV were good, and breakfast was free. Please stay here and enjoy it.

Palmira is just one road back from the ocean, less than a five-minute walk, and cleanliness and service are its strong points. It’s a nice Salinas option compared with the rat hostels on the beach. The breakfast could be better, perhaps with fresh fruit and real coffee. If you don’t rely on breakfast, this place should do nicely.

Whenever I’m in Salinas, I’ll choose Hotel Palmira Inn. The beach is about 20 steps away, and the breakfast is great, especially the marmalade. Juan and Mauricio are wonderful hosts, and the atmosphere here leaves you feeling positive and refreshed. Juan, this part is for you: you have a real knack for making perfume, something I could learn from. Kudos, and all the best! Siddharth Manda :)
