Hot water isn’t something you can count on in beach villages, so having it here was great. The rooms were clean and reasonably priced, right on the beach, and breakfast was great too.

I wouldn't recommend this hostel. Some rooms are in seriously disgusting condition, and the others are poorly maintained. The pool is rarely cleaned. Service is terrible, and they refuse some services. The woman who works there also showed no professional ethics.

Just 20 meters from the sea, and the staff are very, very friendly. Rooms have air conditioning, a TV, and showers, and there’s also a small apartment. Prices are very cheap: $16 per person in the off-season and about $22 in peak season. Excellent place!

The pool and being so close to the ocean are two big draws here. It’s a safe, comfortable place to relax and enjoy San Clemente, and it’s earthquake-resistant.
