We stayed here twice for one night each, and I’d come back. The staff were really friendly and let us keep our motorcycles inside the function room behind reception. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the river is a nice spot for sunset. Our matrimonial room had good space, plus a TV, fridge, and AC. The shower was hot and had good pressure.

A clean, spacious room and excellent service from the staff made this a good road stop while we were overlanding to the coast. We could park our motorbikes securely.

Breakfast was small, but it was nice to have a bolon or humita for a change, and the service was friendly. The room had an odd shape, though it was clean and a good size, and the A/C worked fine. The hotel is very central, close to the Malecon, and about as safe as Babahoyo gets. It’s decent, if a little pricey.

I stayed there three years ago and felt comfortable, since the hotel had all the comforts. At US$32 a night it was a bit expensive for me. This time, during the pandemic, they had to charge us US$20 per night.
