The area was very nice, and you can walk to basically anywhere. Breakfast, pool, and staff were nice, too. I stayed in a large standard suite, and it was nice for the first two days. Then moths, flies, and geckos started getting in. The windows and the window screen wouldn't fully close, and there were lots of holes in the room. The windows not closing was the main problem. Overall, 2 stars.

Carlos was one of the staff who stood out most, so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were there for 4 days with a ground-level room for the first 2 nights. Construction was happening in the room next to ours, so staff kindly moved us to a VIP suite on the 4th floor. It had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The rooms were cleaned every day, and breakfast was simple but homemade. The beds felt very firm to me, which was my only complaint. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from downtown, with lots of shops and restaurants.

No big complaints. The rooftop patio is really nice. WiFi is a bit slow, but you're more or less in the middle of the ocean, so what can you expect? 🌊🌊

The staff were clean and friendly, and getting around is easy on foot. If you don't feel like walking, taxis have a fixed rate of just $1.50. There are 4 different WiFi antennas. Rafaela is super nice and helpful, and Gonzalo is amazing too.

A relaxing rooftop with chairs and a small pool, plus a nice room with a sea view. Breakfast was good, and there are lots of restaurants and a mini market nearby. The only tedious part was having no Internet in the rooms, so you have to go outside or to the lobby to get online. Besides that, a great choice in Puerto Ayora.
