It’s my first day, and the price is great, $10/night, for a nice room with a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV, swimming pool, and maybe a jacuzzi. The family is wonderful. There’s also a washing machine you can use yourself or pay them to do the laundry, which is what I’m doing.
We stayed two nights. The people are very nice, and $15 a night for a room with a private bathroom and TV is a good price, though don’t expect too much. Breakfast can be added for $2.50. I highly recommend it!
The owner or manager was kind, but I wouldn’t come back. This is a very basic hostel, and the room with a private bathroom needed better cleaning. There were cobwebs and dust behind both the bathroom and room doors, plus mold on the shower tiles and a broken curtain that needs replacing. There’s a pool with music, and the rooms are very noisy.
There’s a bar and food with a wide, varied menu at Hostal Taranza. It has several spaces and green areas, making it a pleasant place to spend the day with family and friends.
A perfect pool and a great place to unwind, with a very affordable price.
