People I spoke with were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were basic as expected but certainly clean. For the price, it’s good value. I was there on a weekend with poor weather and hardly anyone around. The first night was so quiet it felt as if I had the whole building to myself. On the second night someone was put in the room next door, and I barely slept. Bring earplugs if loud door slamming keeps you awake. There’s a small kitchenette on the second floor, but it only has a fridge and a coffee maker with coffee. No utensils, plates, or bowls. The cafe staff did give me some when I asked.

The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear everything, from people walking in the hallway to doors opening, closing, and locking, and people talking in their rooms.

The location is hard to beat when you need to catch an early ferry to the mainland. It’s a basic but really nice hotel, and a light breakfast starting at 8 AM is included. The staff don’t speak any English, but they’re very nice and can always find someone to translate over the phone. You can go from breakfast to the ferry in a minute...

A nice place in a handy spot for catching the ferry or arriving with your own boat. The downside is that you can clearly hear sounds from next door.
