I really liked the herbs and flowers growing in Maya's garden. The main house has three twin-share bedrooms, plus a bathroom, a separate toilet and a dining area where the owner serves meals they've prepared. You can also stay in traditional thatched-roof buildings or in a couple of bungalow chalets, though those have outdoor toilets.

The place looked different from the booking photos. I wouldn't call it a farmstay, it felt more like a group of small, separate houses.

Quiet, untamed surroundings, lovely sea views, and good food.

This atmospheric old farmstead has a real fishing feel to it, and you can walk to the port and bay. There's a local history museum and an estate nearby. If you don't mind a campsite setup, with tiny houses in a field and very few amenities, you'll probably love staying here.

We booked almost by chance and ended up pleasantly surprised. The cottages and hostess were lovely, and the kitchen had absolutely all the equipment and utensils. The location is ideal, close to the sea and a restaurant, with the option to go cycling too.
