The host was friendly and helpful, and we communicated easily in English by email. They speak Russian too. We stayed in one of the small houses, which had simple, basic facilities, but it was clean and in excellent condition, as was the shared bathroom. The bunk beds felt comfier than the ones at a posh hotel in Tallinn, though they might not be safe for little kids. There are benches and tables outside for meals since the houses are small inside. The main building wasn’t in use while we were there. It’s a lovely, quiet spot right by the sea, though the beach is rocky, so bring light rubber shoes.

There aren’t many suitable spots for tents, but we were allowed to pitch ours wherever we wanted. There was no proper fireplace, and one of the toilets was closed.
