Old Town Munkenhof Guesthouse - Hostel

The receptionist patiently answered my many questions and was very helpful. There was even free laundry, which was a big help. Bring your own detergent, and don't use the facilities between 10am and 2pm. I spent three nights here in mid-May and really enjoyed it. My single room was on the fourth floor, with no elevator, and had two single beds and a sink. There were three bathrooms on that floor. The kitchen was big, with several refrigerators, and the street was quiet. The location was incredibly central. Thank you!

Good price and a great spot in the middle of the old town. The beds were clean and comfy, the showers were excellent, and the staff were super friendly.

The kitchen and two lounge areas made it easy to settle in, and everything was clean. Towels and lockers with keys are provided, so you don't need to bring a lock. There’s just one shower for everyone, which felt a little limited, though communication was good even without reception staff there all the time. I stayed one night at the end of August. The hostel is on a side street and was generally quiet. One roommate arrived at 3am and snored loudly until morning, but that was down to the guest, not the hostel. Simple and comfortable for a short stay, and I’d stay again in Tallinn.

Great kitchen and lounges, and a lovely setting in Tallinn. A nice, affordable guesthouse.
