Free parking and a pleasant yard made a good first impression, and the building looked charming from outside. The room was called modern superior, but it felt worn and shabby, with nothing modern or superior about it. The cooling was the one good thing in the room. The bathroom was okay, and breakfast was average. The spa felt shabby too. If you're after high quality, this isn't the hotel, so don't be fooled by the pictures.

It's a cute, pleasant place overall, but the pool water was so cold that my family and I couldn't swim. The shower head also looked nasty and was clogged with limescale. That really shouldn't be difficult to clean.

The housekeeping issue unfortunately overshadowed our stay. The hotel has plenty of potential, though, with a charming blend of classic and modern design. Breakfast was adequate, and the pool was a nice extra, even if the water was quite cold.

This is a review of the restaurant. Around Christmas, you hope for a little warmth and a smile, or at least not to be treated rudely. Politeness didn't seem to matter much here, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I wish the place happiness, prosperity, and all the best. I hope it becomes a happier place, since that could change how the people working there behave too.

We went for the weekend and there was live music, which made for a really nice atmosphere. The spa is small but perfectly fine. The hotel facilities were nice, and breakfast had excellent quality and variety.
