The Three Sisters Hotel

The hotel has a lovely story, which the posters explain once you get to your room. I was impressed by how the huge room was decorated to suit the building and its part of the city. The staff we met were really helpful, and they pointed us toward nearby breakfast places. This may well be the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Such a lovely stay and a great discovery. The location is right in the heart of Tallinn's fortress city, and the historic building pairs its old character with modern decor. My room felt welcoming and was immaculate, with a spacious, clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff were attentive and accommodating.

Staying in a building that old was a good experience, though it fell well short of five-star quality. The bed was the most comfortable one I've had on this trip, across four hotels, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The location worked well, inside the old town but far enough from the main square, with easy access. At checkout around 8:45am, reception was empty despite a lobby sign saying it opened at 8. I tried calling and messaging on WhatsApp three times, with no reply. There was no ventilation apart from the windows, which is worth knowing if you have allergies like I do. And when the upstairs guest walked around, little bits of ceiling fell onto the bed, my clothes, and the dresser.

Clean room, comfy beds, and really lovely staff. The service was good too. I'd come back.
