That upstairs room gave me a lovely view over the castle grounds, and it was only a few minutes' walk into town. I usually go for smaller boutique hotels when I travel, and Ekesparre has become one of my all-time favorites. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

The breakfast was splendid, and our room was beautiful with an amazing view. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ekesparre, thanks in part to the really sweet staff. It's the best hotel I've stayed at so far. Highly recommend.

We found the room small, but it had everything we needed and a wonderful view. The hotel is an elegant little place beside Kuressaare Castle, with sights, spas, cafes and restaurants, and the coast and marina all close enough to explore on foot or by bike. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs and porridge you could order, plus pastries and sandwich fixings at the buffet. The bathroom water pressure was low, nearby noise sometimes carried, and with one server at breakfast we occasionally waited for coffee. Those little issues didn't count for much against the overall experience.

The castle is right nearby, and the location is excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the decor was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's no kettle, though there is a minibar for drinks if you need them. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including Champagne.

We spent the evening eating excellent fresh fruit and having drinks in the library on the roof. Breakfast was tasty, too. The staff were professional and kind without intruding. One of our best stays in Europe. Thanks for hosting us!
