The restaurant serves really good food. I especially liked the lambshank and rainbow trout, and breakfast was excellent for a small hotel. The setting is romantic and works well for a weekend away. Taevaskoda hiking trails are close by and well worth visiting, and Munakas offers MTB or skiing depending on the season. I’d recommend it to couples and people who like being active.

We held a company event here for several days, and the staff were so accommodating that everything went smoothly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was amazing. It’s a beautiful old vodka distillery, renovated nicely and set in lovely Estonian countryside.

We had a wonderful evening, with good food and a pleasant setting. The atmosphere feels both classy and cozy, and the service was 5+. It’s a luxurious place, and I’d recommend it for a romantic dinner as a couple if you want to avoid noisy people. When it’s warm, you can sit outside and enjoy the weather, if you’re lucky enough to be there then.

I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel and restaurant are amazing, with lake views, nearby hiking paths, and great food. Kristiina is a lovely hostess, and we loved little Mozart ❤️

The old vodka factory has lots of quirky little details, yet it’s comfortable, and the staff are helpful and keen to make your stay pleasant. If staying here appeals to you, treat yourself to a visit. I was sorry not to find any vodka in the bar! ; )
