Narva Hotell & Spa

We stayed in the junior suite Sunday 18th-Monday 19th Jan. The room had a sauna, which was a good one, and a view of Ivangorod Fortress. Its old-fashioned decor was beautiful. There were drinks in the fridge/minibar, including alcoholic ones, payable when checking out if you had any. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee sachets were there too, along with body wash, lotion and shampoo. An iron and ironing board might have been useful with all the other amenities, though we didn’t need them. We could perhaps have asked for them free, or there might have been a charge. The included breakfast and spa access both exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was a big buffet, enough to fill me up before the drive back to Tallinn later that day. The spa was as good as the big ones around Europe, but quiet and peaceful. Staff were quick to help, whether serving drinks or clearing wet floors. We had bathrobes and slippers from the room, and it was comfortable to relax in them at the spa. The staff were extremely kind and always smiling, ready to help with my questions. Not everyone spoke English, and they don’t have to! For this budget, it’s probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed in a lot. Well done, Narva Hotell. I hope to come back for longer. Parking is on the road outside the hotel entrance, which turns into the car park. The car park itself is for people in the area and maybe spa or restaurant visitors.
