Campus House by Larsen

The private balcony was a real plus, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area reached by slightly steep stairs. Campus House by Larsen has shared social spaces, a laundry room, gym and rooftop terrace too. Private parking is available, but spaces are limited, so tell the property in advance if you need one. It’s a clever, unusual hostel concept with private rooms or small apartments. It feels a bit like a student residence, but on a much higher level, and the setup makes it easy to feel at home. The price is very reasonable for this kind of place, and it works for short or longer stays if you want more than a typical hostel. Cleanliness could be a little better. The fridge seemed to have been cleaned only on the surface, and dust showed up on the white stairs pretty quickly.

Parking was included, which made me happy. The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It had a great atmosphere and was not far from the city center.

We paid 70 EUR for two nights in the loft room, which was comfortable, stylish and very good value. A few things could be better. There was no wine glass or bottle opener, which I’d expect when an apartment has a kitchen. The shared area had a sink, but no proper kitchen like one of the other Larsen properties. And the seating there was uncomfortable, just beanbags and benches without backs.

For a week-long business stay, the room was clean and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the kitchenette with its fridge, all the storage space and the comfortable bed. This was my second stay in Larsen and I enjoyed it. Check-in and checkout were both easy with the self-service system. The one thing I didn’t like was not being able to adjust the room temperature.
