The Zen deluxe room was huge, with a separate sitting room, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The brown decor felt drab, but for the size it was still excellent value. Breakfast had a good range and quality, and the food at the restaurant was lovely and good value too. Lina was a charming, helpful waitress on the evening we went, and Arles at reception was friendly, efficient and very helpful. It’s an easy 15-minute walk to the old town.

The spa gets busy, so book ahead. There’s also off-road parking. It’s only a short walk to the old town, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Friendly staff and good food in the restaurants too.

The breakfast was amazing and the internet worked fine. This is a nice hotel near the inner city and the technical university, with rooms at a low price. Some comments complained about the interior, but I liked the cozy gray style more than a neon-colored modern hotel.

We really enjoyed the stay, especially the location, roomy yet cozy rooms, and filling breakfast. The price felt great for what we got, and they let us check in early because rooms were free, which we appreciated. The cellar bar was the letdown. On our first visit, the female bartender said cocktails weren’t served, until her male colleague pointed out the menu options. We tried them on two consecutive days, and both times they tasted watered down. Apart from that bar experience, it’s an amazing place to stay.

The staff were lovely, and getting around was easy: there’s a bus stop right beside the hotel, and the old town is about a 10-minute walk away. My room at the Kreutzwald Hôtel was clean, though it had no fridge. The breakfast buffet was great, with different savory sides. More fruit options would’ve been nice, but it was okay. There’s a library too. It’s a little disappointing that spa access isn’t included in the price.
