Once you get used to the system, this place is great. The kitchen was excellent and had everything you might need, even baking paper for the oven, which I’d brought myself. I’d recommend it. The route to the lockers could be explained or marked more clearly, though. This is my second space capsule hostel, and at the other one the lockers were in the room.

The facilities are good all around, but the vending machine charged me wrong twice, lol. I bought water for EUR 1.25 and it deducted 3.90. Don’t use a card to buy from it.

The bed was the worst part. The mattress was so thin it felt like sleeping on the floor. They moved me to another capsule, but that one wasn’t much better. The shower area smelled strongly of urine even though there were no toilets there, so I ended up using the accessible bathroom instead. The hostel is about 15 minutes from the center by bus, with nothing nearby. The design and automated setup are great, but a few problems made my stay really unpleasant. When I arrived, my Booking.com reservation number didn’t work, an issue the hostel already knew about. They told me to cancel and book directly with them, which meant paying twice and over 20% more. They promised to refund the difference, but I had to file a claim with Booking.com and chase them several times before they paid it back. It wasn’t much money, but I wasn’t going to just give it away, especially after the poor treatment and complete lack of apologies. It was very stressful after a long trip. I don’t recommend this place. There are better, cleaner hostels with private rooms in the center. But if you really want to try a capsule-hostel experience, go ahead.

The capsules are surprisingly roomy, even for someone 6'6, and the vent makes enough white noise to help with sleep. Its bright controls may be a problem if you're sensitive to light, so an eye mask could help. There's no AC control inside the capsule. The bathrooms and sinks were very clean, though the showers had a bit of an odd smell, and there’s no spa or hot tub like at the Japanese capsule hotels I've tried. The place is about 10 minutes from the airport and a 5-minute bus ride from the city. I was surprised to find a capsule hotel in Tallinn, having stayed in a few in Japan. Here everything is automated. You get an entry code, then a card for the dorm, your capsule, locker, and other areas. It's co-ed, unlike the male and female dorms I've usually seen in Japan. The kitchen is well equipped, with two stoves, two ovens, two sinks, a kettle, and a fridge, far beyond the microwave setup I'm used to in Japan. You can cook or bake, but bring groceries: the vending machine has little food, and there aren't shops nearby. The sister restaurant is the only close food option, about a 3-minute walk, with tasty meals usually around 5 to 7 euro. It's pretty cheap.

The capsules were a good size, with great ventilation, and there are secure lockers for your things. Guests can also use the kitchen to eat or prepare food, and there's a vending machine for snacks and coffee. I stayed for two nights in this cozy hostel. I only met one employee, who was very friendly and helpful, handling the cleaning, kitchen, and morning tasks. Customer service answered the phone quickly. I had a few small problems, but staff sorted them out fast, and the stay was perfect for me.
