We were five in a small two-story apartment, and it was too cramped for that number. Three can sleep in the upstairs bedroom, while two use the sofa bed downstairs in the living and kitchen area. The open sofa takes up even more room, so it would be perfect for three. The upstairs and downstairs spaces are open to each other for light and sound. The kitchen has two electric burners, a small fridge, microwave, and kettle. It’s fine for breakfast or heating a ready meal from the nearby Rimi supermarket. The apartment was clean, though I’d suggest washing the dishes. There’s a bathroom with a sink, shower, and hairdryer, plus a washing machine in the living room. Earplugs were provided, which made us think it might be noisy, but we didn’t need them. The house is lovely and recently renovated, with a spacious, nicely presented interior and a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen. It’s just outside the lower part of the historic center, so we didn’t need public transport and could reach everything easily. The internal parking is awkward to enter from the corner of a busy street, and courtyard parking costs €7 per day. For waste disposal, there’s a wooden shed with a combination lock. Their guide gives the location and code. The recycling bins are labeled only in Estonian, though Google Translate can help identify the types of waste. It’s useful to know how to sort it beforehand. The door closes behind you, but a switch opens it from inside.
