It has classic Russian-style grandeur, with dark corridors and stairwells opening onto big, airy rooms with high ceilings and parquet floors. The room we had had a balcony off both the living room and main bedroom, while the second bedroom had its own shower.
The apartment's central spot in Tallinn old town is great for visiting the city, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. But noise from nearby bars and the street came indoors, and we couldn't hearproof the other apartments well either. We stayed over a couple of weekend nights, so I can't say how loud weekdays are. Cleanliness was far from acceptable: most dishes and kitchen appliances were extra dirty. We were also concerned that the smoke detectors weren't in their designated spots, but sitting in a cupboard instead. The kitchen faucet was loose. To our surprise, the oven and stove were gas-controlled, with no operating instructions, and the 'coffee machine' was just a capsule device, which wasn't what we expected. The beds were more uncomfortable than promised. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Right in Tallinn old town, and the apartment looked exactly like the pictures. The price for four people for two nights was reasonable. I can highly recommend it.
The facilities are basic and dated, but the accommodation's size and location are hard to beat.
The location is the only good thing. The place is dirty and furnished in an old, worn-out style!
