Economy Hotel

I paid 70 euros for a room that was about 15 degrees Celsius, and they offered no apology, compensation, or real fix. My original Booking.com reservation was also cancelled because they don't take debit or credit cards. Instead they send a payment link, which doesn't feel standard or professional to me. It's cheaper accommodation, but I didn't find it worth the price.

The staff were good and the price was fair. It's a safe, clean, basic place that does the job for a night or two, though it's nothing fancy. The tram tracks nearby are noisy and there's a big market close by, but somehow I still slept well.

I booked a room, but they wouldn't let me bring my bicycle in. They offered parking behind the pub, which didn't feel secure. I explained that my road bike was expensive and asked to keep it in my room, but they still refused. I cancelled the stay, then they turned down my refund request. Scam!

The reception staff were lovely to talk to, explained things clearly, and helped with everything. The rooms were as expected for the standard, and I had no complaints about cleanliness. Some guests got drunk and loud, though that's not the hotel's fault. I did miss having a hair dryer in the room, but you can get one at reception. One morning we arrived for breakfast at 8am and the room was empty, with no staff there.
