Godart Rooms

I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. The room was nice, with a large bed, sofa, table, chairs, clothes rail, and a good bathroom and shower. You get into the street door with a combination keypad, then pick up the room key from a keybox beside the room. Cafes, restaurants, a bar, and a supermarket are an easy five-minute walk away, and the old town is stunning. I ate at a bar called Beer Garden.

It could work for a night or two if you’re okay with party groups. We just wanted to relax, and guests in the room above were jumping, singing, and screaming until midnight. There’s no reception presence to keep an eye on how people behave. We complained to our booking contact, who apologized, but that didn’t fix the noise. The location is great, and our room was big and tidy, but it was quite cold at night and the heating was very mild. I might stay again if I were a party animal, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who isn’t.

The room and location were very good, so I’d recommend it as a place to stay. The service could be better, though. The key box was stuck because we’d been given the wrong code. When we asked for help, they sent us a tutorial video, even though the mistake was theirs.

After tourist season it was very quiet, and the place was clean with a nice bathroom. It worked well for travelers on the go. There’s no desk service, just self-service, and wifi was available in the lobby and extended dining area, but not in the room. The Old City of Tallinn is easy to reach from this perfect location. A nice food market is one block away near the History museum, and the restaurant Odessa is very close.
